Mail Services/Central Receiving

Mail Services/Central Receiving  is under the management of Lynne Madewell and located in Support Services on the north side of the Calaveras River, just across the footbridge.

Processing an average of 40,000 mail/packages monthly, the mailroom has developed an expertise in the knowledge of USPS regulations as well as Pacific guidelines and would be happy to assist you with any mail related questions.

Incoming business mail and student mail is delivered daily.  The policies for departmental mail and student mail/packages are outlined in each of these links.

As part of the University's ongoing drive to be greener and as an additional convenience, the following services are also offered by the Mail Room:

  • Student E-Waste Program
  • Used battery drop off or free used battery pick-ups for recycling
  • Shipping popcorn/bubble wrap drop off
  • Empty xerox/printer cartridge drop off
  • Drop off or free pick up and shredding of documents

All items that are dropped off to the Mail Room or picked up by the Mail Room staff are then recycled, reused, or properly disposed of.
