Early Advantage MBA

Early Advantage MBA Plan of Study

The Eberhardt Early Advantage MBA was designed to accommodate highly motivated individuals who are focused but only have one to two years of work of professional work experience or are considering a career change. It was designed for this group to provide applied, intensive and hands-on experiences in a full-time accelerated 16-month format. Many of the classes incorporate real world projects from companies who need strategic business assistance. As part of your 51-unit program, you may be asked to write a business or marketing plan, conduct a feasibility study, or help bring new products to market.

Students in the Early Advantage MBA attend classes on the Stockton campus four days a week for three semesters. In addition, the summer between semesters two and three is spent in a three-unit Global Business Competition course overseas in a unique business trip learning experience. In addition, you will complete an 8 to 10-week MBA-level internship where you will be able to immediately begin putting your advanced management knowledge and skills into practice. The Eberhardt Career Management Center staff will work with you hand-in-hand to assist you in developing a beneficial experience.

Admissions Requirements:

  • Completed online application (includes two essays and resume)
  • Two letters of recommendation (recommended, but not required)
  • One to two years of work experience (preferred, but not required)
  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended*
  • Official GMAT or GRE scores

The Eberhardt Early Advantage MBA Program does not require any prerequisite courses for admission; however, it is strongly recommended that you complete course work in accounting, calculus, economics and statistics prior to enrolling in the Eberhardt MBA programs. This is especially true if you have not developed a strong quantitative skills background or did not achieve a strong score on the quantitative section of the GMAT.  Proficiency in the use of various computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel is also highly recommended.
