Distinguished Scholar Lecture

The Distinguished Scholar Lecture brings national and regional scholars and authors to the Pacific campus to share their knowledge and expertise with students, faculty, staff and community members. 

Dr. Juan Cole was chosen as the Spring 2012 School of International Studies Distinguished Scholar Lecturer. His talk entitled, "The Arab Spring: One Year Later' was delivered to a packed house of students, faculty, staff and community members on Friday, January 20th. more>>

Charles C. Mann, author and journalist was the Fall 2011 distinguished scholar. On Wednesday, November 2, he discussed, "1493: How Globalization Began."  The lecture and book signing took place in Janet Leigh Theatre on the Pacific campus.
