A campus emergency may include fire, extreme weather, loss of power, pandemic, or other city, state, or federal emergencies that affect one or more of our campuses in Stockton, Sacramento and San Francisco.

During an emergency, University of the Pacific will use its emergency information Web page at http://emergency.pacific.edu/. That page will be updated often. Emergency messages may also be sent on the University's Twitter account @UOPacific and through the PacificConnect system, which sends emails, text messages and voicemails to those registered for the system. If you are a student or employee, you can subscribe to the PacificConnect emergency messaging system by logging in to InsidePacific, going to the administrative tab and selecting the field for PacificConnect.

Emergency Procedures
Recent events throughout the world have highlighted the need for colleges and universities to prepare for a variety of possible emergencies. The University of the Pacific is concerned about the safety of all members of our campus community and is aware that the greatest strength we have in minimizing the effects of an emergency is to have well trained staff and faculty. In order to fulfill this objective, the Pacific Alert Team (PAT) has designed this guide to instruct you on what you should do during a crisis or emergency. Please take time to review and become familiar with the contents of this manual. If you have any questions or need more information, be sure to contact your Building team Leader or Public Safety at 209.946.2537.
