Tiger Tips

Have you ever been curious of what to do if you are being followed, or how to be safe in a parking lot at night? University of the Pacific's Tiger Tips program can give you answers to those questions. Tiger Tips is a safety campaign that was launched by the University in October 2011. The safety initiative is a joint effort between the Office of the President, Public Safety, and Marketing and University Communications.

The idea of Tiger Tips is to make safety messages more appealing to a younger audience, while also featuring tips that are useful in a day-to-day setting.  The campaign features student-made videos, posters, and chalk art designs to allow students a wide array of viewing options.

Chad Fraga and Chelsea Scahill, two Pacific students, are the re-occurring safety stewards who can teach you about exercising with a buddy, the Stripes program, or theft in the library.  The Tiger Tips videos can be seen on the University website, Facebook, YouTube, and PacTV.  The videos also are viewable as trailers in the Janet Leigh Theatre, as well as being featured in the Don and Karen DeRosa University Center.
