Course Reserves

During any given semester, course materials can be made available in a number of different ways.

Hard Copy Reserves
Faculty members can place materials on reserve for their students to borrow at the Stockton Campus Library or the Rite Aid Information Commons.

  • Information for Students
    • Reserves are kept at the Stockton Campus Library and Rite Aid Information Commons circulation desks
    • Reserves may be requested by professor's last name
    • Reserves are available on a first-come, first-served basis
    • Loan periods are usually 2 hours but may be up to 3 days
  • Information for Faculty
    • In order to place items on reserve, faculty must
      • Fill out the reserve form and sign to confirm the reserve meets Fair Use Guidelines
      • Submit the form and materials at the Stockton Campus Library or Rite Aid Information Commons front desk
    • Please note:
      • If the item belongs to the faculty member, the circulation staff will accept and temporarily place it on reserve
      • If the item belongs to the University Libraries, staff will retrieve it from the collection upon request
      • Please allow 48 hours for hard copy reserves processing
